Six Month Stats

We had our 6-month checkup today. Our little first baseman weighed in at a healthy 21 pounds, 4 ounces, but is a mere 26.5 inches long (though we measured him at a bit over 27 inches). I can't believe he ever fit into those teeny little onesies. The yellow one is a 0-3 month (which he wore for about the first month) and the white one is a 6-9 month (which he's wearing now). Daddy put away all the 0-3 and 3-6 month clothes this week. So sad, especially since he outgrew some of them so quickly, he only had a chance to wear them once or twice!

Our doctor says he looks great and is right on track with all the important milestones. As you can see, he's sitting up so well that he can sit in restaurant high chairs now. We had to buy a high chair cover because all he wanted to do was chew on it. Yuck!

Colin was happy to hear that we can start Stage 2 foods (bigger portions, yay!) and add a third meal every day. Luckily, his current cold (I think we're on number 4 or 5) hasn't caused another ear infection. He had to get three shots, but he was a trooper! I think Mommy and Daddy were more upset about the shots than he was.
