Friday's News and Notes

There's lots going on in the news today. The arrest of a suspect in the JonBenet Ramsey murder (and questions about his confession), a federal judge finding the Bush administration's secret wire-tapping program unconstitutional, and another federal judge ruling that tobacco companies lied about the health risks of smoking. Oh my!

In other news, it looks like it's going to be another beautiful weekend in the nation's capital. So, get out and enjoy it -- we'll all be complaining about how cold it is soon enough.

The World Basketball Championships start this weekend. Go Coach K! Um, I mean, Go USA!

And how about them O's, hon? A good Yankee-thumping does any O's fan's heart good.

Volunteers are Needed for Study on Cheese Eating
