18-Month Stats

Colin had his 18-month appointment today. He weighs 27 pounds 12 ounces and is 33 inches tall (both in the 75th percentile). He lost 4 ounces since May, but grew almost two inches! His head is still in the 90th percentile. I guess he's got a big brain growing in there. In fact, today he showed us where his nose, belly and feet are.

The doctor said he should have a vocabulary of 6 to 10 words. So far, Colin says: Dada (Daddy), Ada (Mommy), Dog (um, dog), Ma (more), Rora (Rory, our dog), La La (Bella, our cat, and Ty, our other cat), and Ball (you guessed it). He says a couple of other things, including something that sounds like "go go," but we haven't figured out what those mean yet. Stupid parents...
