I'm It!

Kelly tagged me so now I have to tell you 8 things that you don't know about me. Then, I have to tag 8 different bloggers (do I know 8 more bloggers?) and they are supposed to do the same.

Here we go:

1. I got my first email account when I was a junior in college (1993).
2. I also stopped eating poultry in 1993 (peer pressure while working at Public Citizen). I had already stopped eating red meat and pork a few years before that. I still eat seafood, so I guess I'm an "almost vegetarian."
3. I've had five different business cards since 1998 even though I've only changed jobs once.
4. I had braces in 4th grade because I had already lost all my baby teeth and had a huge gap between my front teeth. My current dentist didn't believe me when I told her that.
5. Speaking of teeth, I've never had a cavity (knock on wood).
6. I can trace my ancestry to Ambrose Dixon. I believe he's my first ancestor to come to America (he lived in Virginia by 1640 and moved to Maryland in the 1660s).
7. I have an irrational hatred of ants.
8. I don't like pictures of myself, so you'll rarely see any of me on this blog!
