For the first time in ages, there's good news about the Orioles. Hometown hero Cal Ripken, Jr. was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame today. (The equally great Tony Gwynn was also elected.)
Way to go, Cal! We're proud of you, hon. Anybody up for a trip to Cooperstown in July?
