Friday's News and Notes

So, I've been a little lax on keeping up with News and Notes. I hope to do better in the New Year!

Last week, I told you about Mr. X's claim against the USDA being granted. This week, we learned that Mr. Y's claim was granted as well. Yay for happy endings!

The Baltimore Ravens play the hated Indianapolis "Colts" this weekend in Baltimore. I'm sure those of you not from Baltimore are wondering how we can still be bitter about the Colts leaving town in the middle of the night like cowards almost 23 years later. First of all, who can forget the image of the Mayflower moving vans driving away in the snow? To this day, I won't even consider hiring Mayflower for a move. Also, despite promises to the contrary, the Irsay family refused to let Baltimore use the Colts name, even for their short-lived CFL team. But, I think the kicker is the fact that the Indianapolis "Colts" also try to take the Baltimore's history. Sorry Indy, Johnny Unitas was, and will always be, a BALTIMORE Colt.

Happy three-day weekend to all! Go RAVENS!
