Baby's First Christmas

Christmas morning started bright and early at 8:45 (after months of getting up every morning at 3:30, we're loving the "late" mornings). After a yummy breakfast (eggs and sausage for us, pears and oatmeal for Colin), we took a look at the tree. Santa came! And he left presents!

Colin was a little skeptical when we told him that we wanted him to rip the paper. Don't we spend hours each day taking paper away from him?

But, good little boy that he is, he didn't let a little doubt stop him...

OK, Mommy, I'm done. Can I go now?

Oh, there's more? Now we're getting serious...

Really serious...

This Christmas stuff is pretty fun!

Colin was all tuckered out after all that unwrapping, so Daddy and I opened our gifts and got ready to go to Uncle Mike and Aunt Melissa's while Colin took a rare two-hour nap. We had a nice afternoon with Daddy's family who were all very, very generous. The next morning, Colin played with the garage Grammy and Granddaddy gave him:

Then, it was time to go to Grandma and Grandpa's house for, you guessed it, more presents! Yay, a tool bench!

A puppy!

Colin's first Christmas was pretty wonderful. He's a lucky boy to have such a great family!
