Laney had her 6-month appointment on April 27. She was 18 lbs. and 26 inches long. At that time, she had had a mild cough for a week or so. Well, that mild cough developed into a terrible cough over the next 3 weeks and she's had to take Albuterol through an inhaler and a nebulizer as well as oral and inhaled steroids. We eventually were referred to a pediatric pulmonologist, who we saw on Friday. He thinks that she has bronchiolitis and the inhaled steroid should clear it up over the next week to 10 days. We are very relieved that it isn't something more serious. And, as much as we love our pediatrician, we hope to never have to see them 2 to 3 times a week again!
The first weekend in May, we drove to Dearborn, MI for our nephew's baptism. My brother and his family live in Northern California, so this was the first time we met Chase (and the first time Chris and Lisa met Delaney). That weekend, Laney mastered sitting up (even though she still doesn't roll over). I think Colin and Delaney really enjoyed meeting their cousin.

In other news, Laney has gotten her two bottom teeth over the past week. The first on May 20 and the second today. She'll have some teeth for that smile in no time!
