Flashback: The House of Mouse

Before Jelly Bean arrives, I am hoping to catch everyone up on some of the things we've done over the past several months. This is Flashback #1.

In July, we drove to Orlando for my friend Lisa's wedding in Disney World. The wedding was wonderful and we were able to spend two days in the parks. (We thought that two days was plenty for a 2-year-old and a pregnant Mommy. We were right.)

On the first day, we went to Magic Kingdom. I think the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway was the highlight of Colin's vacation. "Colin drive car!"

We waited impatiently in line to see some characters in Mickey's Toontown Fair. Donald, Pluto and Goofy were big hits.

Mickey and Minnie? Not so much.

He also liked It's a Small World, Mickey's PhilharMagic, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Jungle Cruise, and the Railroad. And, of course, he liked the playground in Mickey's Toontown Fair.

On Friday, we went to Hollywood Studios in the morning. We saw Playhouse Disney Live and Muppet Vision 3-D. Not too much for toddler to do here. Then, we went to Epcot. We liked Spaceship Earth, The Seas with Nemo & Friends, Journey Into Imagination, and the Gran Fiesta Tour in Mexico.

We had a great trip and are looking forward to going back in a few years!
